My mum has been in hospital for a week - they are still doing testing but suspect blood poisoning and a bone infection. Visiting is exhausting then hideous drives home in Auckland traffic that are taking 40-90 minutes.
A young teacher at my school is on life support.
The principal announced he is leaving education.
I'm quite over so much stuff at the moment. And in between everything I am attempting to study, but really can't be faffed with anything. I could even take time off work without pay is how I feel about everything at the moment.
I'm so glad my wool arrived from England today. I needed a wee boost. One good thing in life. (well it was our 20th wedding anniversary last week - I'll show some pics soon).
Happy knitting.
ReplyDeleteI so understand where you are coming from. I have been feeling the same. Just try to remember to get some sleep and look after yourself
So sorry to hear all you sad news, hope your mum and colleague get better soon. always a exhausting time with such worries. Hope your anniversary cheers you.xxx
ReplyDeleteI am sorry you are having such a rough time. Wishing your mother all the best and a speedy recovery, and my thoughts are with the young teacher, too.
ReplyDeleteA spot of knitting is what you need. Love Drops Lima, it is soft and squishy. Take care when you wash it, it has a tendency to felt (if I remember correctly). xx
I hope that your Mum will be OK and that they will treat her and she will soon be very well again. I hope that everything else will be OK too, I am sending you good thoughts and hugs. xx
