A happy pottering day

It's just a happy pottering day at home. My favourite type of day! Sorting out 4 laundry baskets. Re-making beds, shutting doors to teenage bedrooms, knitting, reading, putting stuff away.. divine weather too. The weather has been up and down and we heard there was a light dusting of snow in the hills around the scout jamboree - SNOW! - in summer !!!


Some lovely new things - some were Christmas gifts and others a bit of road trip shopping - I tell ya what - I have the best husband. "Oh there's a wool shop - would you like to stop?... Spotlight - shall I pull in?...". I love him!


First up - a lovely pile of books - some bought in Adelaide and Melbourne and kept for summer and Christmas - I am really enjoying the Kate Morton one currently -



Mum made me some new place mats and teatowels -


I have wanted a pair of glerups for a long time -


On the road wool purchases -




And a couple of new divine mugs -
Oh the author Kate Knapp one is truly divine!





Loving these summer days of pottering!

    We're currently doing the washing from Jamboree, my husband is a leader, so he and my two kids went. All had a fabulous time.
