I ran away from home for a bit - it was good for the soul and brain! Photos etc soonish
Last couple of weeks - it's a YES from the University of Auckland for post grad study next year for primary school teaching! Rather gobsmacked as it took all of 4 days for them to confirm it! I sat a literacy and maths test which wasn't exactly rocket science...
I do have to pass the last 3 under graduate papers this year, but since when do I fail?! Not liking one of them.
Two essays submitted. Another 3 to do in 5 weeks.
School hols at the end of next week but - giggle - 2 weeks of only working 3 days.... but I am working my BUTT OFF while at work to get stuff done. I'm at the backlog stage which is pure craziness...
I've been knitting - stuff to show - and fabric shopping while away. I'm off to a local craft group tonight and will probably haul along the sewing machine for a change...
Great school results from younger two. One other seems to be pretty low key about university work (easier than year 13 he says...?!?!).
We're in the middle of a cyclone - more horrific weather - this city has been saturated over the past month! Laundry backlog as I hate clothes driers! But water saving has stopped.
I'm tired, but that's not new! Actually went to the supermarket for the first time in a month too - I've the best husband you know!
A pic from my little trip at the very very bottom of New Zealand -
