A rose on my one rose bush which was a cutting from my grandmother's rose. This rose is named after her. My twin brother went and dug the whole plant out of her garden after she had died and gave me a cutting.
Shopping love - buttons, fabric, felt, thread and a quilting ruler too. Some of this stuff will be for my Autumn Swap.
Carrot muffins and a good cup of tea.
What a precious rose, in more ways than one, and oh oh I want to go to the little craft store isn't the way they wrap things just adorable, and I am loving what you bought just my type of things x
ReplyDeleteA very precious rose, the people that lived in our house before us named their daughter Albertina after her grandfather and Planted a rose in the garden called Albert and asked if they could take it with them when they left, of course we said yes, I often wonder if it survived the move.

How lovely to have that rose bush now from just a cutting, thats a lovely idea. Seeing your cup of tea has made me want one now. Haven't got a cake like yours though, may have to have a choccie biscuit. Karen :)
