Loving all the gorgeous divine gifts from family, friends, penfriends.
Um - a rather large box of cotton arrived from Canada a few days before Christmas. This is for two people - not just me ;) - at $US1.25 - 2.25 a ball, the cousin and I conspired
I've sat down today and for the the first time ever, am putting my yarn collection onto Ravelry. The cousin is waiting rather impatiently and hoping I out do her her stash. I think that might be a given already....
I've carried on knitting Ramona and Falling Water (going ever so slowly with this one but need to concentrate and do 10-20 rows at a time) and have started another cross stitch too...
A day of laundry and house cleaning as well. It is cooler and we have had a lot of rain which is fabulous! We had a few days away at our bach in Karekare, which is always refreshing.
Any new books for Christmas? Anyone read anything by Kate Morton? I need some more suggestions!
I LOVE Kate Morton! Few enough characters not to get tangled, enough plot not to be predictable. :)

ReplyDeleteyou received some wonderful gifts Kimberley and OH MY! that stash!!! I need to have a proper look at Ravelry as a place to keep records of my stash rather than just look at patterns. I need some new books to read so will try a Kate Morton and see if i can find a copy of island life.
ReplyDeleteSome cracking presents there, your friends and family obviously know what you like! I've read The Secret Keeper and thought it was brilliant. I also loved The Forgotten Garden and The House at Riverton. Am just about to start The Lake House and really looking forward to it.
