I've been doing what i do best - pottering. Recycling huge amounts of magazines. Cleaning bathrooms. Always laundry. Scrapbooking. Knitting my gloves (oh what a learning curve this is!).
And kinda a bit bored too, but too lazy to go anywhere.... teenagers seem to sleep a lot anyway!
I found this wool in my stash and decided I probably was never going to knit this colour...
It is "Tangled Stash" sock wool - 75% Merino SW and 25% nylon. A 100 grams size ball and 423 metres long. One of our independant wool dyers in NZ.
Leave me a comment below if you'd like to be the new owner of a bit of New Zealand woolly goodness and I'll announce the winner on the first day back at school for me - January 26.
Open internationally. I'll throw in a circular needle too which is too short for my purposes too.
I would love to win this yarn. I love your socks and another pair for winter would be wonderful
ReplyDeleteSounds as though you are really enjoying the holidays and your pottering! The yarn is beautiful isn't it, I could make a beautiful shawl from that! xx
ReplyDeleteOh gosh I'd love that woolly yarn!!!! It's yum. I'm
ReplyDeletea knitting addict, so I love any yarn!! lol
Cheers, Anita.
lovely yarn and I cannot believe school will be starting up once again.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to be included in your giveaway please, the yarn looks lush. I've just read about your mishap with the yarn in your last post, I could weep for you, all that beautiful yarn in the bin. I'm sorry you didn't receive your swap parcel, that's so disappointing, but it's lovely of Alison to delay opening hers so that you can enjoy the process together, and of course, you've got it all to look forward to once you're back in school.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous colour just the thing to brighten the fabulous Auckland summer day that is today !!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful color! It would really stand out in these cold, gray Virginia days!
