Phew/Penfriends

Library loopiness - deforestation; then deforestation in Samoa in particular; Tongan funerals; earthquakes in Tonga; earthquakes in general; volcanoes; carving; Dame Whina Cooper; Te Puea; marae traditions; every type of pollution;a dozen different NBA players; land issues; landforms/ rocks; Mangere history; Mangere stonefeilds and that was before lunch! I was throwing Dewey numbers at students left, right and centre! 80 students in the library all day today - nothing returned in amongst that and no shelving achieved. Crazy day. Then whipped to White Cross Otahuhu (doctor)and yep another infection and more antibiotics and now an essay to finish. Supposed to be doing a 4 hour first aid course right now but I'm home and I'm totally STUFFED!

I've been throwing things in the mail left, right and centre. Snail mail always makes people happy!

I'd love some more penfriends particularly from the UK, Europe and USA. Let me know if you'd love to write. Maybe we could do some type of penfriend swap - let me know if you'd love a penfriend and I'll think about doing a little bit of a thing on the blog!

  1. Hi Kimberley
I must admit I love contacting people in other countries and sharing experiences so you can count me in. I've had pen friends since I was 10 years old and I'm a grandmother now!
I popped over from Diane's blog (Cheshire Quilters) and we are blogging buddies but we have also met up a couple of times too.
I look forward to hearing from you.

  5. Hi! I came over from Dianne's Blog. Not sure why I hadn't come across your blog before.
You and I have lots in common. Quilting, knitting, reading. I'm an ex school teacher etc. I am considerably older than you. I think I have detected from reading back through your posts that you live in the South? I live near Tauranga.
Nice to meet you. I look forward to following your blog.
    Cheers - Ali.
